Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field such as supply chain, agribusiness or economics
- • Demonstrated experience in procurement, preferably within agricultural inputs
- • Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills
- • Proven ability to negotiate and build relationships with global suppliers
- • Excellent organizational and project‑management capabilities

Responsibilities
- • Support creation and execution of seasonal procurement strategies to achieve >90% on‑time‑in‑full delivery and cost savings
- • Negotiate with suppliers to secure market‑competitive prices and achieve 5% year‑on‑year cost reductions
- • Ensure strict quality control, targeting zero quality issues for farmers
- • Maintain an >80% on‑time payment rate for suppliers
- • Assess farmer needs against global market trends, supplier capacity, and inventory to anticipate supply gaps
- • Streamline delivery processes and automate workflows to reduce lead times
- • Continuously improve goods receipt, loading, and quality‑control operations
- • Analyse spend data and generate insights to inform procurement decisions
