The Fiberglass Laminator is responsible for producing high‑quality composite components for commercial vehicle bodies, including bus roofs and aerodynamic cowlings. They operate molding equipment, apply laminates, and ensure each part meets strict quality standards. The role requires hands‑on expertise with fiberglass materials and attention to detail.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or technical certificate in Composite Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- • 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience as a fiberglass laminator
- • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- • Familiarity with safety standards and personal protective equipment
- • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail

- • Manufacture and laminate fiberglass components according to technical drawings
- • Operate molding and curing equipment safely and efficiently
- • Perform quality inspections and address any defects
