Job Description
The Wireline Field Engineer delivers technical expertise on wellsite operations, troubleshooting wireline equipment and providing data interpretation for logging and completion activities. They coordinate with drill crews, supervise junior engineers and ensure accurate documentation of all assemblies. The role also contributes to continuous improvement of wireline services and safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • University degree in Engineering, Applied Science or related discipline
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in oilfield wireline operations
- • Thorough understanding of TCP wireline services and wellsite procedures
- • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- • Ability to work safely in remote and challenging environments
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Develop and analyse solutions to technical problems encountered on‑site
- • Supervise training and performance of less‑experienced engineers and personnel
- • Coordinate wireline operations with drill crews and production facilities
- • Record and communicate assembly data to the Customer Representative at the wellsite
- • Advise on logging and completion procedures, interpret data and troubleshoot issues
- • Oversee equipment maintenance both on‑site and in the shop
