Job Description
The Finance Intern will gain hands‑on exposure to daily finance operations within a fast‑moving multi‑brand business. Responsibilities include reconciling sales across platforms, processing supplier invoices, and supporting month‑end close activities. The role offers practical experience in financial reporting, record‑keeping, and collaboration with the wider finance team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field
- • CPA Part I+ or ACCA studies preferred
- • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- • Excellent attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
- • Organised, proactive and able to follow up on unreconciled items
- • Exposure to accounting systems, M‑Pay reconciliations or Kenyan tax is a plus
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Perform daily sales reconciliations across platforms, brands and branches, including M‑Pay, card, cash and bank transactions
- • Process supplier invoices and provide accounts payable support
- • Investigate variances, missing payments, refunds and other discrepancies
- • Assist with month‑end close, stock‑takes and food‑cost reporting
- • Maintain accurate and organised financial records
- • Prepare reports and support the wider finance team
