Job Description
The Finance Manager oversees financial operations for the Kenya, Somalia and Ethiopia programmes, ensuring robust accounting, budgeting and reporting systems that meet donor requirements. He/she provides strategic financial leadership, prepares timely financial information, and strengthens internal controls. The role also supports programme teams with budgeting, compliance and financial stewardship. Strong analytical and leadership abilities are required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in finance, accounting or a related field
- • Professional certification in finance or accounting (e.g., CPA, ACCA)
- • Minimum 6 years experience in financial management, preferably in the non‑profit or development sector
- • Proven ability to lead finance teams and implement robust financial systems
- • Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder communication skills
