Job Description
The Finance Manager – Payables will oversee accounts payable, payroll, tax compliance and intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to internal controls.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- • Professional accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred
- • Proven experience in finance or accounting roles with focus on payables and payroll
- • Strong knowledge of Kenyan tax regulations and VAT compliance
- • High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail
- • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Oversee accounts payable processing and ensure timely vendor payments
- • Manage payroll processing, statutory deductions and submission of P9 forms
- • Prepare, file and reconcile VAT in compliance with KRA requirements
- • Reconcile intercompany transactions and maintain proper documentation
- • Maintain banking, treasury and cash‑flow management activities
- • Develop and update standard operating procedures for financial processes
- • Ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory regulations
