Job Description
The Finance Officer – Grants Compliance ensures donor requirements are met, prepares for audits, manages grant documentation and supports audit readiness across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND in Finance, Accounting or a related field
- • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in finance, grant management or audit compliance
- • Strong knowledge of donor compliance and grant documentation
- • Excellent analytical and reporting skills
- • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Undertake pre‑audits and develop pre‑audit plans
- • Identify gaps and implement corrective actions to maintain audit readiness
- • Liaise with the IS team to integrate AI tools for audit processes
- • Lead and execute legacy audits, coordinating with external auditors
- • Collect and submit required documents to auditors
- • Monitor and respond to auditor comments and feedback
