Job Description
The Financial Analyst will develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for a portfolio of private‑equity and renewable‑energy projects across East Africa. Responsibilities include performance analysis, KPI tracking, stress testing, and leading due‑diligence activities with lenders. The role also prepares detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management and investors. A strong analytical mindset and effective communication are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- • Minimum 5 years experience in private‑equity and renewable‑energy project development in East Africa
- • Self‑starter with strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- • Proficiency in VBA or other programming tools (advantage)

- • Develop and maintain financial models for the project portfolio, including operational and liquidity forecasts
- • Conduct portfolio performance analysis, KPI tracking, and scenario‑stress testing
- • Support and lead due‑diligence with lenders, handling refinancing, debt structuring, and covenant negotiations
- • Prepare financial reports, covenant reporting, and presentations for senior management and investors
