Job Description
The Financial Controller reports to the CEO and oversees all financial and commercial functions, including accounting, reporting, treasury, risk management and budgeting. The role ensures robust internal controls, accurate financial statements and strategic financial planning.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Finance, Accounting or related discipline
- • Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred
- • Minimum 10 years’ experience leading finance functions in a large multinational organization
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Review and develop business procedures to ensure integrity of financial reporting
- • Lead implementation of inventory management systems and internal controls
- • Oversee sub‑ledger balancing and monthly bank reconciliations for all balance‑sheet accounts
- • Coordinate audit activities, address audit queries and ensure timely resolution
- • Prepare 12‑month rolling cash flow forecasts for the CEO and Board
- • Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to support strategic decision‑making
- • Provide recommendations on revenue, expenditure trends and financial commitments
