Job Description
The Financial Controller will oversee accounting operations across all group entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial closing and consolidation in line with IFRS standards. They will design and monitor internal controls, manage tax filings and coordinate both internal and external audits. The role also involves mentoring the accounting team and collaborating with senior management to uphold fiscal rigor. A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and a professional certification such as CPA or ACCA are required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field
- • Active professional certification such as CPA(K) or ACCA
- • 7–10 years of experience in finance or accounting leadership roles
- • Strong leadership and communication skills

Responsibilities
- • Lead timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing across group entities
- • Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS and statutory requirements
- • Design, implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets
- • Supervise filing of corporate income tax, VAT, WHT/WHVAT and payroll deductions
- • Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve audit queries
- • Direct, mentor and develop the accounting team
