Job Description
The intern will support the Business Planning & Reporting function by preparing management reports, consolidating financial data, and maintaining budgeting templates. They will assist in variance analysis and contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting cycles, gaining hands‑on experience in financial reporting and analysis. The position offers exposure to ERP systems and advanced Excel techniques while working under senior specialists. This contract role is ideal for recent graduates seeking practical finance experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
- • Pursuing CPA Part II/III or ACCA qualification
- • 0–2 years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, audit, or commercial finance
- • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and basic Power Query
- • Proficiency in PowerPoint for management and board presentations
- • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, or similar
- • Basic knowledge of Power BI
- • Strong numerical and analytical abilities
- • Solid understanding of financial statements and budgeting fundamentals
- • High attention to detail and strong communication skills
- • Effective time‑management and ability to meet multiple deadlines
- • Team‑player mindset with high integrity
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reports in line with established timelines and quality standards
- • Consolidate financial and operational data from multiple departments into unified reporting views
- • Maintain and update budgeting and forecasting templates, ensuring version control across entities
- • Support the annual budgeting process and periodic forecast cycles
- • Perform budget‑versus‑actual variance analysis and document findings clearly
- • Assist in data validation and ensure accuracy of financial information
