Job Description
The Fleet & Delivery Officer ensures safe, timely and accurate delivery of packages to members while maintaining vehicle condition and route efficiency. The role handles package verification, proof‑of‑delivery recording, and uses digital tools to update delivery status. It also supports fleet upkeep and provides courteous service to members.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Secondary education (KCSE) or higher such as Diploma or BA/BSc/HND
- • Valid driver’s licence appropriate to the vehicle used with a clean record
- • 4–10 years experience in delivery, courier or logistics operations
- • Ability to use smartphone, GPS, and electronic proof‑of‑delivery systems accurately
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Collect and verify packages against manifests, checking counts and condition
- • Follow assigned delivery routes and ensure on‑time delivery to members
- • Record proof of delivery using electronic tools and update system status
- • Maintain assigned vehicle or motorcycle in good working order
- • Provide courteous, member‑first service and address delivery queries
- • Adhere to safety, compliance and company policies during all operations
