Job Description
The Food & Beverage Trainer delivers curriculum‑aligned training sessions, prepares teaching materials and assesses trainee performance. Responsibilities include developing training documents, supervising practical projects and contributing to curriculum and manual revisions. The role requires a relevant qualification, TVET licensing and at least two years of industry experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in Food & Beverage or a related field
- • Licensed by the TVET Authority or eligible for licensing
- • Membership in a relevant professional body where applicable
- • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a recognized institution
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Deliver training in food and beverage subjects according to the approved syllabus
- • Prepare teaching/learning materials, schemes of work and assessment tools
- • Set, moderate and mark examinations and assignments
- • Supervise trainee projects, practical work and conduct assessments
- • Participate in curriculum development, training manual creation and continuous improvement initiatives
