Job Description
The Food Experience Manager will lead the food team across Kenyan camps, creating an annual food strategy and product improvement plans that meet guest expectations. Responsibilities include managing dietary menus, training culinary staff and monitoring guest feedback to drive continuous improvement. A diploma in a relevant field and at least five years of hospitality experience are required. Strong people skills, attention to detail and high energy are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in hospitality, culinary arts or a related field
- • Minimum 5 years experience in food service management or similar role
- • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Create and implement an annual Food Strategy for Kenyan camps in partnership with the Group Food Experience Manager
- • Develop product improvement plans to keep offerings innovative and aligned with industry trends
- • Manage and guide the Food Experience team to achieve key performance targets
- • Monitor guest feedback and trends, initiating training or changes as needed
- • Ensure all camps provide clear dietary menus for vegetarian, vegan, gluten‑free, dairy‑free, nut‑free and other requirements
- • Train culinary teams on substitutions, cross‑contamination prevention and handling special dietary needs
- • Keep training content up‑to‑date with policy, procedure and standard changes
- • Oversee day‑to‑day operations to meet service standards and guest satisfaction goals
