Job Description
The Fractional Chief Financial Officer provides senior‑level financial advisory services, leading capital‑raising strategies, building lender‑grade financial models, and establishing finance governance for Tamarso. The CFO designs SPV structures, oversees treasury policies, and trains the internal finance team, ensuring robust financial controls in a frontier‑market environment. The role requires extensive experience with DFI engagement, blended‑finance transactions, and impact‑investment structures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Ten or more years of senior finance leadership experience (CFO, VP Finance, or equivalent).
- • Proven track record in blended‑finance transactions and DFI/impact‑investor engagement.
- • Expertise in frontier‑market finance, governance, and capital‑raising delivery.
- • Strong technical skills in three‑statement and project‑finance modelling, DSCR, and covenant analysis.
- • Bachelor’s degree required
- advanced degree preferred.
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Lead capital‑raising strategy, investor pipeline, information memorandum, data room, and term‑sheet processes.
- • Build integrated lender‑grade financial models with asset‑level modules, DSCR, covenant, liquidity, FX, and stress‑test analytics.
- • Implement finance governance, including treasury policy, cash waterfall, delegations, reporting calendar, and board KPI packs.
- • Design HoldCo–AssetCo SPV structures, supporting agreements, and implementation plans with external legal counsel.
- • Train the internal finance team and deliver a documented handover package.
- • Provide advisory support across investors, management, and a lean finance team.
