Job Description
The Fractional Senior People Advisor will work with Educate!’s executive team to provide strategic HR guidance, develop people policies, and support talent management across its operations in East Africa. The role is part‑time and focuses on building HR capability for a fast‑growing organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Minimum 7 years experience in senior HR advisory or people‑operations roles
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- Master’s preferred
- • In‑depth knowledge of East African labor legislation and HR best practices
- • Strong coaching, communication, and change‑management skills
- • Ability to work independently on a fractional basis
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Advise the CEO and senior leadership on HR strategy and organizational design
- • Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook
- • Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and performance management processes
- • Provide coaching and development plans for managers and staff
- • Ensure compliance with labor laws in Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya
- • Lead initiatives on employee engagement and retention
