Job Description
The Fraud Risk Manager leads the design and execution of fraud risk assessments, monitors emerging threats and ensures the effectiveness of fraud controls across the bank’s products and channels. The role collaborates with stakeholders to remediate findings, update detection rules and support change initiatives, safeguarding the institution’s assets and reputation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (BA/BSc/HND)
- • Minimum 5 years of experience in fraud or risk roles within a financial institution
- • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks

Responsibilities
- • Conduct fraud risk assessments across products, channels, processes and systems
- • Identify fraud vulnerabilities and recommend mitigating controls
- • Monitor fraud trends, losses, emerging threats and key risk indicators
- • Ensure fraud risk events are reported, assessed and managed per policy
- • Review and challenge the effectiveness of fraud controls throughout the business
- • Track remediation of fraud‑related findings, risks and audit issues to closure
- • Monitor and adjust fraud detection rules, parameters and control performance
- • Support projects and change initiatives related to fraud risk management
