Job Description
The French Teacher will deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons using the SABIS methodology, assess student performance, and support learners who need additional help. The role involves preparing and marking examinations, managing classroom behavior through the SABIS point system, and collaborating with the Academic Quality Controller and department heads. Additional duties include invigilating exams and guiding students in external exam preparation.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND) or higher (MBA/MSc/MA) in Education, Languages or a related discipline
- • Prior teaching experience, preferably with secondary‑level students
- • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow the SABIS methodology

- • Deliver lessons using the SABIS curriculum and develop lesson plans when required
- • Mark examinations and record grades according to departmental schedules
- • Discuss disciplinary and performance issues with the Academic Quality Controller and Head of Department
- • Apply the SABIS point system to maintain a positive classroom environment
- • Invigilate exams and ensure proper exam procedures
- • Support low‑performing students through targeted interventions
- • Prepare students for external examinations by reviewing past papers
