Job Description
The Fuel Distribution System Driver/Operator is responsible for safely delivering fuel to designated locations, operating distribution equipment, and maintaining accurate delivery records. They ensure compliance with safety regulations and perform routine vehicle checks. The role requires a valid driver’s licence and experience in fuel distribution.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Valid driver’s licence appropriate for fuel‑distribution vehicles
- • Experience in fuel delivery or similar transportation role (preferred)
- • Knowledge of safety procedures and environmental regulations related to fuel handling
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Operate fuel distribution vehicles and equipment to deliver fuel to assigned sites
- • Ensure safe handling and transfer of fuel in accordance with regulatory standards
- • Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
- • Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and inventory records accurately
- • Communicate with dispatch and customers to confirm delivery schedules and address issues
