Job Description
The Fundraising Lead will identify and cultivate funding opportunities, manage grant pipelines, and develop compelling proposals to secure resources for Synnefa’s growth. The role works closely with the Founder & CEO and finance team to align fundraising activities with organizational priorities. Strong relationship‑building and proposal‑writing skills are essential.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- • Minimum three years of fundraising, grant writing, or partnership development experience
- • Proven ability to secure grants and build relationships with donors
- • Strong analytical and financial planning skills

Responsibilities
- • Build and manage a qualified fundraising pipeline aligned with growth priorities
- • Assess funding fit, eligibility, timing, and delivery requirements for each opportunity
- • Initiate outreach, secure introductions, and develop relationships with foundations, institutional funders, and corporate partners
- • Lead the development of concept notes, grant applications, proposals, and pitch materials
- • Collaborate with Finance to prepare budgets and incorporate technical, commercial, and impact evidence
- • Manage funder follow‑ups, due diligence, negotiations, and funding decisions
- • Develop renewal strategies and pursue follow‑on awards and ongoing partnerships
