Job Description
The Fundraising Lead drives resource mobilization for Synnefa by identifying funding opportunities, cultivating donor relationships and securing grants to support smart‑agriculture initiatives. They develop fundraising strategies, prepare proposals and manage donor reporting to ensure sustainable financing.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, International Development, Agriculture or related field
- • 3–5 years experience in fundraising, grant writing or development for technology or agribusiness organizations
- • Proven track record of securing funding and managing donor portfolios
- • Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and networking skills
- • Strong analytical ability to assess project impact and financial sustainability

- • Build and maintain relationships with donors, foundations and strategic partners
- • Write compelling proposals, budgets and impact reports aligned with Synnefa’s mission

- • Track fundraising metrics, manage donor database and ensure compliance with funding requirements
