Job Description
The Gender & Development Studies Intern will contribute to gender‑focused projects within the Public Service Commission, assisting in research, data analysis, and report preparation. Working under senior staff, the intern will help develop gender‑sensitive policies and support stakeholder engagement. This contract position offers exposure to project management practices in the public sector. Candidates should be pursuing or recently completed a relevant degree.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Sociology, or related field
- • Strong interest in gender equality and development issues
- • Basic knowledge of research methods and data analysis
- • Proficient in Microsoft Office and communication tools

- • Conduct literature reviews and gender analysis for ongoing projects
- • Support data collection, entry, and basic statistical analysis
- • Prepare draft reports, briefs, and presentation materials
- • Assist in organizing workshops and stakeholder meetings
