Job Description
The General Manager – Corporate Services will lead Kenya Railways’ corporate functions, including human resources, finance, procurement, and administration, driving strategic policy development and operational excellence.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field
- Master’s preferred
- • Minimum 8 years experience in corporate services or general management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
- • Proven ability to develop and implement policies and strategic initiatives
- • Strong financial acumen, HR knowledge, and procurement expertise
- • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities
- • Lead the Corporate Services division, overseeing HR, finance, procurement, and administration functions
- • Develop, review, and implement policies, procedures, and strategic plans aligned with Kenya Railways’ objectives
- • Manage budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation for corporate services
- • Supervise departmental heads, ensuring performance targets are met
- • Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with statutory regulations
- • Represent the division in senior management meetings and external stakeholder engagements
