Job Description
The General Surgeon Consultant will deliver specialist surgical care at AIC Kijabe Hospital and lead multidisciplinary teams in complex procedures. Responsibilities include performing surgeries, providing clinical consultations, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring high standards of patient safety and outcomes. The consultant will also contribute to hospital development initiatives and uphold professional regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Medicine.
- • Master’s degree or postgraduate specialty training in a surgical discipline.
- • Registration as a specialist with the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council.
- • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
