Job Description
The Geography/Kiswahili Teacher will deliver engaging lessons to secondary‑level students, integrating ICT tools to enhance learning and assessment. Responsibilities include preparing and marking examinations, mentoring students for external contests, and maintaining a safe, supportive classroom environment. Strong communication, safeguarding commitment and effective classroom management are essential. The role requires a relevant teaching qualification and at least three years of experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND in Education or related field
- • Minimum 3 years of experience teaching Geography and/or Kiswahili at secondary level
- • Proficient in ICT for teaching and assessment
- • Excellent communication, classroom management and interpersonal skills
- • Commitment to safeguarding and student academic development
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Deliver engaging Geography and Kiswahili lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
- • Prepare and mark assessments, providing constructive feedback
