Job Description
The Global Foundations Manager will partner with country offices to identify and develop strategic foundation relationships that align with program priorities. They will lead pipeline management, craft compelling proposals, and coordinate donor outreach across the organization. The role also involves sharing best practices and market insights to strengthen the overall fundraising capacity.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or higher (e.g., MBA, MSc, MA) in a relevant field
- • Minimum 5 years experience in foundations, fundraising, or program management
- • Strong interpersonal and networking abilities
- • Proven ability to develop partnership proposals and donor communications
- • Proficiency with donor relationship management systems such as Salesforce

- • Work closely with country offices to identify, develop, and advance strategic foundation partnership opportunities
- • Build and manage strong foundation prospect pipelines aligned with programmatic priorities
- • Support country teams in donor outreach, engagement planning, and partnership positioning
- • Develop partnership pitches, concepts, and cases for support, translating program impact into compelling proposals
- • Facilitate exchange of successful practices, market insights, and fundraising approaches across country offices
- • Identify and pursue selected strategic foundation opportunities, especially with regional or local foundations
- • Coordinate with global colleagues to ensure aligned relationship management and donor engagement
