Job Description
The Human Resources Specialist within the Global Management of Operations will quality‑assure HR planning, workforce management and performance monitoring across multiple country offices. The role identifies HR risks, provides targeted support, and contributes to organisational development initiatives in the Eastern and Southern Africa region.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc) and a Master’s degree (MBA/MSc/MA) in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- • 5–7 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in humanitarian or non‑profit settings
- • Proven ability to work with diverse cultural and national stakeholders
- • High integrity and discretion handling confidential information
- • Fluency in English and French
- Portuguese is an asset

- • Support development and consolidation of operational plans and budgets at global level
- • Quality‑assure HR planning and workforce management for country offices
- • Monitor HR risk patterns and ensure minimum standards are upheld
- • Provide targeted HR accompaniment to priority country offices
- • Contribute to organisational development, capacity strengthening and performance monitoring
- • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to address operational, financial and safeguarding issues
