Job Description
The Global Safeguarding Lead will develop and oversee CorpsAfrica’s safeguarding strategy across all operating countries, providing technical supervision to in‑country Safeguarding Officers. This role ensures consistent implementation of policies, risk assessments, training programs, incident reporting tools, and compliance with funder requirements. The lead will also manage the annual safeguarding plans and maintain the gender risk matrix and Do Not Hire Registry.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND in Environment Health and Safety, Development Studies, or a related discipline
- • Minimum 7–10 years experience in safeguarding, risk management, or related roles
- • Proven ability to develop and implement policies and procedures
- • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
