Job Description
The Graduate Trainee will join Cellulant’s software engineering team to develop, test and maintain applications while gaining hands‑on experience in agile development practices. Under mentorship, the trainee will contribute to both frontend and backend projects and build a professional portfolio.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field
- • Strong interest in software development and willingness to learn new technologies
- • Basic understanding of Java, RESTful services and version control (Git)
- • Ability to work collaboratively in an agile team environment
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Write, test and debug code for web applications following best practices
- • Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and retrospectives
- • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement new features
- • Create and maintain technical documentation for developed components
- • Explore and adopt emerging engineering tools and methodologies
- • Build a personal portfolio of projects using Java, REST APIs and version‑control systems
