Job Description
The Graduate Trainee will receive practical training in the Glaze Line Manufacturing Department, supporting inkjet printing operations, quality monitoring, and machine maintenance. Responsibilities include loading image patterns, conducting quality checks, cleaning equipment, and maintaining production logs. The role also involves adhering to safety and hygiene standards while learning production processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or Diploma in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field
- • Strong interest in glaze production and inkjet printing technologies
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Assist with loading and checking image patterns to ensure consistency with approved samples
- • Conduct 15‑minute quality checks on glaze, printing patterns, edge washing, shade differences, missing ink, and other defects
- • Print and inspect the five‑colour test chart every two hours
- • Perform printhead/nozzle cleaning and routine inkjet machine operations
- • Ensure correct ink usage, proper mixing, and adherence to expiry periods
- • Maintain inkjet room conditions, including temperature control between 10 °C–24 °C
- • Clean and maintain inkjet machines and work area as required
- • Report machine faults, quality abnormalities, and production issues promptly
- • Assist during production changeovers and other Glaze Line activities
- • Follow all safety, hygiene, quality, and production procedures
