Job Description
The Group Lending Loan Officer will manage a portfolio of group loan clients, evaluating applications, disbursing funds and monitoring repayments to ensure loan performance. The officer will also provide financial education and support to group members, fostering sustainable credit growth. The role requires at least two years of experience in group lending and a relevant diploma or degree.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or degree in Business, Finance or a related field
- • Minimum two years of experience in group lending or micro‑finance operations
- • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities
- • Assess loan applications from group borrowers and conduct credit analysis
- • Disburse approved loans and maintain accurate loan documentation
- • Monitor repayment schedules, follow up on delinquencies and enforce group lending policies
- • Provide financial literacy training and guidance to group members
- • Build and maintain strong relationships with borrower groups and community partners
- • Prepare regular reports on loan portfolio performance for management
