Job Description
The Head of Cash Product for Kenya & East Africa drives the strategy, development, and performance of cash management solutions across the region, ensuring competitive, compliant, and scalable offerings.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • MBA, MSc, or MA in a relevant discipline
- • Significant experience in cash management, payments, and liquidity solutions
- • Proven track record of product leadership in banking or financial services
- • Strong analytical, strategic, and governance expertise
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Define and execute the cash product strategy for Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania
- • Own the end‑to‑end product agenda for payments, collections, liquidity, and transactional FX
- • Lead product origination and execution using the product lifecycle methodology
- • Partner with sales, coverage, ALCO, and regulatory teams to structure complex client solutions
- • Champion investment cases and drive disciplined commercialization of cash products
- • Ensure strong governance, risk, and regulatory compliance across markets
- • Collaborate with operations, technology, risk, compliance, and legal functions to protect the franchise and sustain growth
