Job Description

The role provides strategic finance partnership to the Cultural Engagement directorate, delivering financial planning, forecasting and analysis to support decision‑making. It oversees grant‑in‑aid budgeting and ensures compliance with donor requirements while driving finance transformation initiatives such as new planning tools. The postholder also enhances business‑partnering capability across the organization and translates complex financial data into clear strategic insights.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or related field (BA/BSc/HND) and professional certification
  • • Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in large or public‑sector organisations
  • • Proven experience in financial planning, forecasting, reporting and business decision support
  • • Demonstrated ability to manage grant funding and ensure compliance with donor requirements
  • • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • • High integrity and commitment to ethical standards

  • • Lead finance transformation initiatives such as implementation of a new planning tool and process improvements
  • • Enhance business partnering capability and continuously improve reporting and planning processes
  • • Influence decision‑making across the organization by translating complex financial data into clear strategic insights
