Job Description
The Head of Platform & Architecture will define and execute the technology roadmap for Caava Group, leading the design of scalable, secure platforms that support the company’s digital products. The role involves strategic oversight of architecture, cloud adoption and engineering team performance in a hybrid work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
- • At least 7 years experience in platform engineering and architecture, with 3+ years in a leadership role
- • Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, microservices, API design and DevOps practices
- • Strong strategic thinking, communication and stakeholder management skills
- • Proven track record of delivering large‑scale, high‑availability systems
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Develop and communicate the overall platform and architecture strategy
- • Lead design and implementation of cloud‑native solutions on Azure/AWS
- • Ensure architectural standards, security and performance best practices are met
- • Mentor and manage a team of architects, engineers and technical leads
- • Collaborate with product owners to align technology decisions with business goals
- • Evaluate emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives
