Job Description
The Head of Research and Development will lead the creation and launch of innovative financial products, overseeing market analysis, pricing strategy and business case development. They will manage the end‑to‑end product lifecycle, from concept through approval to post‑launch performance monitoring, and drive cross‑functional collaboration across the bank.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Marketing or a related field
- • 5–8 years of experience in product development, research, credit or strategy within banking
- • Proven ability to take financial products from concept through approval to launch
- • Strong skills in market and portfolio analysis, product pricing and business case modelling

- • Lead the research, design and development of new financial products and services
- • Conduct market and portfolio analysis to identify opportunities and assess demand
- • Develop product pricing models and comprehensive business cases
- • Coordinate with credit, risk, compliance and marketing teams to secure product approvals
- • Oversee product launch execution and monitor post‑launch performance
- • Drive continuous improvement of product development processes and methodologies
- • Mentor junior analysts and foster a culture of innovation within the R&D function
