Job Description
The leader will oversee the end‑to‑end collection and recovery function, driving portfolio performance while ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation. Responsibilities encompass strategic portfolio management, team leadership, vendor coordination, and reporting to senior management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • University degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field
- • Professional qualification such as CPA‑K, ACCA, ACIB or Certified Credit Professional
- • Minimum 6–8 years experience in a financial institution, with at least 3 years in senior management
- • Advanced negotiation and conflict‑resolution abilities
- • Strong analytical skills to interpret credit data and portfolio trends
- • Proven leadership and people‑management capabilities
- • In‑depth knowledge of legal frameworks for debt recovery, foreclosure and bankruptcy
- • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and internet/email tools

- • Direct recovery actions and legal proceedings for delinquent accounts
- • Manage relationships with vendors and third‑party service providers

- • Custody and disposition of repossessed assets
