Job Description
The Health Innovation Lead will design and implement evidence‑based health innovations that improve outcomes in low‑resource and humanitarian settings. The role involves strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and resource mobilisation to advance the organization’s health innovation portfolio.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND in a relevant field
- • Demonstrated experience in health innovation, project management or related areas
- • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- • Excellent communication and partnership‑building skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Lead development and implementation of the Health Innovation Strategy
- • Identify and prioritize health‑system challenges where innovation can add value
- • Design, adapt and oversee innovation initiatives using an evidence‑based approach
- • Scan global evidence, technologies and service‑delivery models for adaptable solutions
- • Generate evidence on effectiveness, feasibility, cost, acceptability, equity and scalability
- • Lead resource mobilisation, identify funding opportunities and develop concept notes and proposals
- • Build and maintain strategic relationships with ministries of health, donors, research institutions, innovators and private‑sector partners
