Job Description
The Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Driver will perform night‑shunting operations for DHL, loading and unloading products, ensuring timely vehicle turnaround while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • KCSE qualification
- • Minimum 3 years of experience driving heavy‑goods vehicles
- • Valid heavy‑goods vehicle licence
- • Ability to work night shifts and handle physical loading tasks
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Load and unload products at the KBL site safely and efficiently
- • Dock trucks at the loading bay and shunt loaded trucks to Kasarani
- • Ensure vehicle turnaround times meet KPI targets
- • Maintain vehicle safety and quality standards, reporting any anomalies promptly
- • Drive DHL vehicle on approved routes while upholding DHL values
- • Follow standard operating procedures for loading/off‑loading and complete required documentation
- • Exercise care and caution, adhering to all legal and safety requirements
