Job Description
The Heavy Lift Technical Specialist oversees the planning and execution of complex heavy‑lift operations, ensuring technical accuracy and safety compliance. This role collaborates with engineering, project management and client teams to design lift solutions and supervise on‑site activities. The specialist also manages equipment maintenance, documentation and continuous improvement of processes.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering or a related field
- • Minimum 3 years experience in heavy‑lift or large‑scale equipment handling
- • Proven knowledge of load calculations, rigging techniques and safety regulations
- • Strong problem‑solving, project‑management and communication skills
- • Ability to work under pressure and lead multidisciplinary teams

- • Plan, coordinate and supervise heavy‑lift operations from concept to execution
- • Conduct technical assessments, load calculations and risk analyses for each lift
- • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations and client specifications
- • Manage and maintain heavy‑lift equipment, tools and documentation
- • Liaise with clients, engineers and site crews to communicate requirements and progress
- • Prepare reports and post‑operation reviews to identify improvement opportunities
