The Host/Hostess at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts will create welcoming first impressions for guests, manage seating arrangements and coordinate smoothly with front‑of‑house teams to ensure a seamless dining experience.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • High school diploma or equivalent
- hospitality training is advantageous
- • Previous experience in a front‑desk or host/hostess role
- • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Greet guests warmly and manage the reservation system
- • Escort guests to their tables and present menus
- • Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to optimise seating flow
- • Address guest inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly
- • Maintain a tidy and inviting lobby and reception area
