Job Description
The HR Manager leads Octavia Carbon’s people function, aligning workforce planning, recruitment and performance management with business growth. Responsibilities include developing compensation structures, overseeing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with Kenyan labour legislation. The role also drives culture‑building initiatives and supports leadership development across the organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree or HND with a professional HR certificate
- • 3–7 years of HR experience
- • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour legislation
- • Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Lead workforce development and people planning, including HR metrics and compensation forecasts
- • Oversee HR operations such as recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, compensation, benefits and employee exits
- • Drive culture‑building initiatives, including leadership retreats, team engagement and wellbeing programmes
- • Manage HR systems, records and policies to ensure compliance with Kenyan labour laws and internal policies
- • Support leadership in strategic HR decision‑making
