Job Description

The HR Business Partner will provide comprehensive People Operations support for Pula across multiple African markets, handling payroll, employee lifecycle events, and HR reporting. The role combines hands‑on administration such as onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding with strategic business partnering and data analysis. Candidates must have at least four years of HR experience and a BA/BSc/HND qualification, and be comfortable working remotely in a cross‑cultural environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • • BA/BSc/HND (or equivalent) in a relevant field
  • • Minimum four years of experience as an HR generalist or People Operations professional
  • • Proven ability to manage employee lifecycle activities and payroll processes
  • • Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
  • • Excellent analytical and reporting capabilities
  • • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality

Required Skills

Responsibilities

  • • Manage end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding
  • • Prepare and maintain employment contracts, letters, and other employee documentation
  • • Ensure accurate and timely completion of inductions, system access provisioning, and exit administration
  • • Support payroll processes and ensure payroll data accuracy
  • • Partner with managers on people matters, providing guidance and resolution
  • • Maintain up‑to‑date employee data and generate regular HR reports and analytics
  • • Contribute to the implementation of broader People & Culture initiatives across the organization
  • • Provide remote HR support across various African markets, respecting local regulations and cultural nuances
