Job Description
The Human Resources & Operations Manager will provide strategic leadership for HR while overseeing operational functions in an automotive and manufacturing organization. Responsibilities include developing HR strategy, workforce planning, performance management, employee relations, and ensuring HR governance. The role also manages day‑to‑day operations to improve efficiency and support business objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • BA/BSc/HND or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- • Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- • Proven experience in HR strategy development, workforce planning and employee relations.
- • Strong knowledge of Kenyan labour legislation and HR best practices.
- • Excellent communication, leadership and analytical skills.
- • Ability to drive operational improvements and manage cross‑functional teams.

- • Develop and implement HR strategy and annual work plan aligned with business priorities.
- • Lead workforce planning, organisational structure reviews and manpower optimisation.
- • Advise senior leadership on strategic and operational people‑management matters.
- • Oversee recruitment, talent acquisition and retention initiatives.
- • Manage performance management systems and employee development programmes.
- • Ensure HR governance, compliance with labour laws and internal policies.
- • Lead employee relations, disciplinary and grievance handling.
- • Drive operational efficiency across the organisation and coordinate cross‑functional processes.
- • Implement HR metrics and reporting to support decision‑making.
