Job Description
The IB Year 3 Homeroom Teacher provides maternity cover by planning and delivering the PYP curriculum, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learner needs, and assessing student progress. The teacher communicates effectively with parents and staff, manages classroom resources, and contributes to the school’s professional learning community.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Minimum a Bachelor’s degree
- • Valid TSC Certificate or equivalent international teaching qualification
- • At least 3 years experience teaching in a PYP environment

Responsibilities
- • Plan curriculum documents collaboratively to reflect Academy and PYP standards
- • Deliver inquiry‑based teaching and differentiate activities to meet the needs of all students
- • Assess, record, and track student progress and communicate results to parents and guardians
- • Communicate programme information to all stakeholders
- • Resource programme needs effectively and maintain inventory
- • Participate actively in school life beyond classroom hours
- • Monitor student behaviour to uphold core values and discipline policy
- • Contribute to the Academy’s professional learning community and appraisal process
