Job Description
The ICT Risk Officer is responsible for identifying, assessing, and monitoring technology‑related risks across the organization, ensuring they are managed in line with risk appetite and regulatory requirements. The role develops risk frameworks, conducts assessments, reports findings, and oversees security operations and incident management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- • Minimum 3 years experience in ICT risk management or compliance
- • Strong analytical and reporting abilities
- • Knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, EDR, DLP, and firewalls
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Develop and maintain the ICT risk management framework
- • Conduct risk assessments for systems, projects, infrastructure, and third‑party providers
- • Maintain the ICT risk register and monitor treatment plans
- • Assess emerging technology risks such as cloud, AI, and cyber threats
- • Monitor key risk indicators and prepare regular risk reports
- • Escalate significant technology risks to management and relevant committees
- • Oversee security operations, investigate incidents, and review vulnerability assessments
- • Monitor security tools including SIEM, EDR, DLP, firewalls, and endpoint protection
