Job Description
The IFF Operator will handle customs declarations, ensure all required documentation is complete, and support the supervisor with tax and regulatory queries for air‑freight operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Diploma or Professional Certificate in Clearing and Forwarding or related field
- • EACFFP certification preferred
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Verify that all documents required for customs entries are complete
- • Lodge accurate customs entries in the KRA system
- • Share local COC processing documents with the supervisor in real time
- • Assist with tax and fee computations, including KEBS and port health requirements
- • Monitor Tradex/ICMS for entry status and respond to customs queries
- • Ensure customs files contain all necessary attachments
- • Lodge IDFs and regulatory import permits in the appropriate systems
- • Provide documentation support to the supervisor and port operations team
