Job Description
The Immigration Consultant delivers comprehensive tax compliance, advisory and controversy services for global employer clients. Responsibilities include managing end‑to‑end tax engagements, conducting entry and exit briefings, and leading project teams. The role also involves business development, client relationship management and mentoring junior staff to ensure high‑quality deliverables.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Minimum three to four years of client‑facing experience in payroll tax compliance, controversy or advisory
- • Bachelor’s degree in business, commerce or a related field
- • Professional certification in tax or related discipline is preferred
- • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- • Proven ability to manage projects and lead teams
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Deliver end‑to‑end tax compliance, advisory and controversy engagements for global mobility clients
- • Conduct entry and exit tax briefings and provide guidance on payroll tax matters
- • Lead and supervise teams delivering tax projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery
- • Manage client relationships, understand their needs and identify business development opportunities
- • Train and mentor junior staff through formal sessions and on‑the‑job coaching
- • Produce tax computations, advisory memoranda, dispute objections and appeals
- • Oversee Global Advantage platform usage for client portfolios
- • Support managers with planning, time‑recording and debt collection for engagements
