Job Description
The Implementation Engineer at CloudFactory designs, delivers, and optimizes complex AI data annotation solutions for enterprise customers. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, they collaborate with solutions engineers, product managers, and delivery teams to co‑design scalable implementations and oversee end‑to‑end deployments. The role requires deep expertise in Python development, multi‑cloud infrastructure, and workflow orchestration, as well as strong communication and mentorship abilities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Strong software development background with proficiency in Python
- • Extensive experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, and Azure, including deployment of AI/ML services and APIs
- • Proficiency with workflow orchestration tools, especially Prefect
- • Proven ability to architect and scale secure, cloud‑native solutions with logging, monitoring, and alerting best practices
- • Demonstrated track record of solving complex technical problems and delivering enterprise‑scale implementations
- • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences
- • Strong analytical thinking and a global problem‑solving mindset
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with at least 8 years relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 6+ years, or a PhD with 3+ years
- • Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and influencing decision‑making
- • Experience mentoring peers and driving technical excellence
- • Nice‑to‑have experience working with globally distributed teams and fast‑paced startup environments

Responsibilities
- • Collaborate with Solutions Engineers, Product Managers, and Delivery teams to co‑design scalable client solutions
- • Manage stakeholder relationships and communications across cross‑functional teams
- • Serve as a trusted technical advisor on CloudFactory’s platform and the AI/ML data ecosystem
- • Lead complex deployments and integrations, ensuring scalability, security, observability, and reliability
- • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
- • Document implementation architectures, configurations, and operational procedures
- • Coordinate post‑implementation support and knowledge transfer to customer teams
