Job Description
The Information Technology Officer will oversee RELON‑Kenya’s IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable hardware, software and network services. Responsibilities include system administration, user support, security management and the implementation of digital platforms that support the organisation’s operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
- • Proven experience in IT system administration and network management
Required Skills
Responsibilities
- • Manage servers, networking equipment and desktop hardware across the organisation
- • Install, configure and maintain software applications and operating systems
- • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues and ensure security patches are applied
- • Provide first‑line support to staff, resolving hardware and software incidents
- • Oversee data backup, recovery procedures and disaster‑recovery planning
- • Evaluate and implement new digital tools to improve organisational efficiency
