Job Description
The Injection Molding Supervisor will oversee daily production operations, ensure optimal machine performance, and maintain quality standards for plastic components. Responsibilities include planning schedules, leading a team of operators, troubleshooting molds, and coordinating maintenance activities. The role requires extensive technical knowledge of injection molding processes and strong leadership abilities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Plastics Engineering, Manufacturing or a related field
- technical diploma also acceptable
- • Five to eight years of injection molding experience, including at least three years in a supervisory role
- • In‑depth knowledge of molding processes, machine operation (e.g., Haitian, Husky), and Lean manufacturing principles
- • Proficiency with ERP/SAP systems and Microsoft Office applications
- • Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills

- • Plan and supervise daily injection molding production to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
- • Monitor machine utilization, cycle times, downtime, and overall production efficiency
- • Lead, train, and supervise operators, technicians, and process personnel
- • Oversee mold setup, process parameter adjustments, and troubleshooting activities
- • Coordinate preventive maintenance, tooling repairs, and equipment performance checks
- • Manage material usage, inventory control, and waste reduction initiatives
